Production line components and their function:
The compressor withdraws the air from the atmosphere and compresses it to the designed pressure after going through dust purifying filters, as a result, the air gets rid of some of its humidity, and it gets hotter. So, the air gets out of the compressor as a hot compressed air.
The air gets out of the compressor and enters to pre-cooler works by Freon gas, which leads to cooling it and separates most of the remaining humidity. And after finishing cooling, we get cold dry compressed air.
The air enters the purifier afterwards, where it gets rid of the last remaining humidity, as well as dissolved impurities in the air, such as Carpon and Hydrogen and oil. At this point, we get pure cold compressed air suitable for producing oxygen.
A part of air which comes out of the purifier goes through the turbine where it is expanded very fast, so the compression goes down and gets very cold, then it goes to the next part which is separation column.
Turbine function is to compensate the losses and accelerate the cooling process.
The air enters the separation column where it goes through compression, reducing valves and heat exchangers until it reaches to a temperature suitable for turning the air from gas to liquid, then continuing the cooling until a degree suitable to separate the oxygen from it.
The liquid oxygen is gathered in a specific tank and now it is ready for filling.
